Why study at Elizabeth College?

Elizabeth College has a long history of accepting international students so teachers are experienced in catering for the special needs of students from overseas. We also have enthusiastic teachers who are highly skilled and qualified in their subject area.
We have tutorial programs in Maths and Science, which help our students achieve high results. Our international students consistently achieve high university entrance scores.
Elizabeth College (EC) is located a short 10 minute walk up Elizabeth Street from the centre of Hobart.
Students find the location of our school very convenient. Due to its central location, there are more transport options to and from College.

International student support staff (Heath & Bing) are always available to help international students at Elizabeth College in any aspect of their life at our school. Heath (who has lived in Japan and China) and Bing (who is Chinese) are available to assist students with their subjects and applying for university entrance in Australia.
Our international students go on to study at the very best universities in Australia!!

College Environment

Elizabeth College has well-maintained up-to-date facilities which enhance the study experience of international students at our school. We are especially proud of our science laboratories which have just been completely refitted using grants from the Australian Federal Government.

Excursions

The most important priority for the International Student Program team at Elizabeth College is for our students to achieve great results and go to the very best university they can. However, while our international students are studying at our school we like to take them on excursions to show them Tasmania and to give them a break from their studies.
