On Wednesday 17th June, students will have the opportunity to visit our College and be involved with a familiarisation and activity program that will introduce them to subjects and programs for 2016.
Students will be able to choose from a range of subjects including English, Science, Computing and Maths. However there will be some fascinating options such as printmaking, producing your own video, tuning an engine or making some fashionable jewellery among many other activities. The emphasis on the day is for students to enjoy themselves, meet teachers and discover what the College has to offer.
A BBQ lunch and music will be provided and music. Students will also be invited to participate in basketball, volleyball and other fun games on the deck. If you feel like a chat and a wander about and talk with Ben and John our security guys who love to have a talk or have a look at the subject and educational displays in the library.
Preliminary Course Counselling
Year 10 students from New Town, Ogilvie and Cosgrove are counselled by College teachers during 2015 as part of our Transition Program. Students from other schools will have the opportunity to meet with College course counsellors at preliminary enrolment during Term 3.
We welcome students and their parents to contact the College at any time to meet with a counsellor to plan a study programme for 2016.
First Stage of Enrolment
All students will complete their preliminary enrolment during August/September of 2015. At enrolment each student will work with a counsellor one-on-one to discuss their enrolment in detail. Following this preliminary enrolment a letter will be mailed home to parents/guardians outlining subject choices.

Tuesday 11 November Non-feeder Government Schools, 9.00am – 12.00pm
Non-Government Schools, 12.00pm – 3.00pm
Evening Enrolment (all schools), 5.00pm – 6.30pm
Thursday 13 November Cosgrove High School, 9.00am – 11.00am
Friday 14 November New Town High School, 9.00am – 11.00am
Once the enrolment process has been finalised, students will receive a letter confirming they are now enrolled at the College for 2015.
Late Changes to Enrolment
Students may also enrol or make changes to previous enrolment details on Tuesday 27 January 2015, 11.00am - 2.00pm, 5.00pm - 7.00pm. Details will be advertised in The Mercury prior to that time.
